Journeyman Maintenance Electrician

I was responsible for maintaining electrical systems in the plant including 24V, 120V and 480V systems. I assisted other journeymen with breakdowns and repairs and constructed new or renewed old electrical panels. I wired new systems for automated machines, worked with 480V motors, VFDs and 24V PLC systems.

Electrician

I assisted the lead journeyman on site with job tasks and assigned helpers with tasks to do on the job. I wired residential and commercial businesses and worked on all stages of rough-ins including underground, rough-frame, skin-out, trim-out and turnover. I read blueprints and understood the drawings and also ran service calls on various residential and commercial buildings.

Lead Electrician

I ensured the smooth start up and completion of residential and commercial jobs including underground, rough-frame, skin-out, trim-out and turnover. I assigned helpers with tasks on both commercial and residential sites. I read and fully understood blueprints, ran service calls on various residential and commercial buildings, bent conduit of various sizes and material types, and made up devices, panels and transformers in single phase and three phase 120/480 systems.
