Electrician with 35 years of field experience. I have been studying renewable energy and focusing on photovoltaics (PV). I have several design, site assessment, and installation certificates for PV including one for teaching through the IBEW. I have taught seven PV classes, four of which have culminated with actual PV installations including a college credit class (Spring 2012). I have done some grant writing and have successfully attained two grants for PV systems for others. Currently working as electrician and PV installer for Austgen Electric in cooperation with Midwest Wind and Solar in Northwest Indiana.
