I began my electrical career just two weeks after graduating high school, starting as an apprentice on the largest combined cycle power plant east of the Mississippi, located in Byesville, Ohio. That foundational year set the tone for a hands-on, fast-paced learning environment where I gained early exposure to large scale industrial electrical systems.

From there, I joined Kiewit/TIC, where I contributed to a wide range of major infrastructure projects including substations, solar fields, simple cycle power plants, and even portions of the border wall in Del Rio/Eagle Pass, Texas. I enrolled in and completed Kiewit’s 4-year NCCER-certified apprenticeship program, earning both my NCCER license and my Colorado State Journeyman’s License.
