The Superintendent will oversee 2–3 tunneling and auger rigs across multiple job sites. This role requires hands-on experience in hand tunneling and auger boring, ensuring projects are executed safely, on schedule, and with effective coordination between crews and clients. The Superintendent will troubleshoot technical issues, maintain daily reports, and ensure upcoming sites are prepared for work.

Duties and Responsibilities:

·        Oversee and manage 2–3 tunneling and auger rigs across various project sites.

·        Provide technical expertise in hand tunneling and auger boring, troubleshooting field issues as they

·        arise.

·        Ensure safety compliance and adherence to project timelines.

·        Maintain accurate daily reports, site documentation, and communication with clients.

·        Coordinate workflow to ensure upcoming job sites are prepared and ready.

·        Support crews by resolving problems and providing leadership on-site.

Supervisory Responsibility:

This position supervises multiple tunneling crews and ensures operational efficiency and safety.

Work Schedule and Conditions:

Typical schedule is Monday–Friday, with flexibility for extended hours, overtime, and weekend work depending on project needs. Work may require travel throughout Oklahoma, Louisiana, and other states, including overnight stays.

Travel/Driving:

Frequent regional travel is required. A valid driver’s license is mandatory.

Job Qualifications:

Required:

·        Hands-on experience in hand tunneling and auger boring operations.

·        Proven ability to oversee multiple crews and resolve on-site issues.

·        Strong communication and leadership skills for coordinating with clients and crews.

·        Ability to produce accurate daily reports and documentation.

·        Willingness to travel and adapt to different worksite conditions. Preferred:

·        Prior supervisory or superintendent experience in underground utility or civil construction.

·        Knowledge of utility infrastructure such as water, sewer, and storm systems.


Additional Information:

Employment is conditional upon completion of all pre-employment requirements, including background check and drug screening. Starting wages depend on skills and experience.
