Responsibilities:

• Design, evaluate, and oversee the implementation of pump station

projects related to wastewater treatment and conveyance systems.

• Conduct detailed hydraulic analyses, flow calculations, and energy

efficiency assessments to optimize pump station designs.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including project managers,

environmental experts, and other engineers, to ensure integrated

and compliant project execution.

• Prepare and review construction documents, specifications, and

procurement materials for pump station equipment and services.

• Manage project schedules, budgets, and documentation, ensuring

timely and cost-effective project delivery.

• Perform site visits to monitor construction progress, ensuring

compliance with design specifications and safety standards.

• Stay informed of technological advancements, regulatory changes,

and best practices in pump station design and wastewater

treatment.

• Liaise with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies, providing

technical support and ensuring clear communication throughout

project lifecycles.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Environmental

Engineering, or a related field.


• Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas, or eligibility to obtain

licensure within a specified timeframe.

• Minimum 5 years of direct experience in pump station design,

operation, and maintenance within the wastewater or water

resources sectors.

• Proficiency in hydraulic modeling software, CAD, and other

engineering tools relevant to pump station design and analysis.

• Demonstrated project management skills, including the ability to lead

projects, manage timelines, and control project budgets.

• Strong understanding of environmental regulations, safety standards,

and industry best practices related to wastewater treatment and

pump stations.

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, with a track record of

successful collaboration with internal teams and external

stakeholders.
