We are seeking an experienced Industrial / Process Pipe Fitter to support high-quality shop fabrication of carbon steel and stainless steel piping systems. This role is focused on precision fabrication—not field installation—and requires strong blueprint and isometric interpretation, accurate fit-up, and strict adherence to quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

· Read and interpret isometric drawings, blueprints, and fabrication packages

· Measure, cut, bevel, align, and fit carbon steel and stainless steel pipe

· Perform accurate pipe fit-up and tack welding per WPS and QC requirements

· Fabricate piping assemblies to tight tolerances in a controlled shop environment

· Install and align pipe supports, brackets, and related components

· Work closely with welders, QC inspectors, and fabrication supervisors

· Maintain clean, organized workstations and follow all safety procedures

· Identify fabrication issues early and communicate effectively with supervision

Required Qualifications

· 3+ years of experience as an industrial or process pipe fitter

· Proven ability to read complex isometrics and fabrication drawings

· Experience with carbon steel and stainless steel piping systems

· Strong understanding of fit-up tolerances, bevel prep, and alignment

· Familiarity with fabrication shop tools (saws, bevelers, grinders, layout tools)

· Ability to work independently while meeting production and quality targets

Preferred Qualifications

· Prior experience in water, power, energy, or industrial process piping

· Experience working in a QC-driven fabrication environment

· Basic welding or tack-weld certification

· Knowledge of ASME piping standards (B31.x)

· Forklift or overhead crane experience

What This Role Is Not

· Not HVAC or plumbing-focused

· Not residential or commercial service work

· Not primarily field installation

Work Environment

· Indoor fabrication shop in Clearfield, UT

· Standing, lifting, and material handling required

· PPE required at all times
