During major outage events, PSEG Long Island may require supplemental resources to provide warehouse assistance at either warehouse or other offsite locations, including delivery of inventory material to work sites.

In addition, Physical Assist restoration crews are utilized to assist restoration crews in debris removal, excavations, etc.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Material Handler Responsibilities:

• Supplement staff at company warehouse/storeroom locations to assist issuing material as directed by the Storekeeper.
• Augment staff at field material laydown sites across PSEG LI territory to coordinate the distribution and tracking of material issuance to repair crews.
• Deliver requested material from company warehouses to operating crews at jobsite locations within PSEGLI territory, as required.
• Fork Lift Certification preferred.

Physical Assistant Responsibilities:

• Collect damaged equipment/material and debris from jobsites for removal as requested by repair crews utilizing material handling equipment such as loaders and dump trucks supplied by National Grid.
