Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Assist the Design Manager and the MEP Engineer in supporting design professionals and subcontractors in the development of MEPs documents necessary to graphically represent (Mechanical, Electrical, Elevators, Plumbing and Sprinkler) MEP installation
• Coordinate and manage general conditions of work and project logistics on the jobsite, in preparation of the MEP installations
• Collaborate with public utility suppliers and other vendors to obtain final service connections in compliance with determined project schedule delivery date and system startups
• Complete the technical review and approval of all MEP submittals
• Manage MEP project closeout, ensuring all requirements are met
• Coordinate and monitor on site the installation of all the MEP components by vendors, subcontractors and third parties involved in the project
• Oversee process for inspections and achieve all required MEP jurisdictional inspections
• Resolve all clash detections identified by the development of the coordination documents
• Enforce high safety standards for MEP activities on job site
• Inspect the quality of work for compliance with design standard and ensure corrective action occurs if/when necessary
