We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Lead to oversee a remediation crew on a utility-scale solar project. The role involves leading a team tasked with correcting installation issues related to pile foundations and racking systems, ensuring all work aligns with project specifications and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

●    Supervise and direct a mechanical crew performing remediation on driven piles and racking components.

●    Identify and correct pile alignment, plumb, or elevation issues without re-driving.

●    Oversee racking adjustments, component replacements, torque checks, and bracing as needed.

●    Ensure all remediation activities meet engineering specifications, tolerances, and safety standards.

●    Collaborate with QA/QC teams to review punch lists and develop corrective action plans.

●    Maintain daily logs of completed work, crew hours, and material usage.

●    Communicate effectively with site management and other trades to coordinate work schedules and resolve issues.

●    Promote a culture of safety and ensure adherence to all site-specific safety protocols.

Qualifications:

●    3+ years of mechanical or structural experience in utility-scale solar construction.

●    At least 1 year in a leadership or foreman role on a solar project.

●    Strong knowledge of pile and racking systems used in solar installations.

●    Ability to read construction drawings and follow specifications precisely.

●    Familiarity with torque specifications and structural remediation techniques.

●    Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

●    OSHA 10 (required); OSHA 30 (preferred).

Physical Requirements:

●    Ability to work outdoors in a range of weather conditions.

●    Must be able to lift 50 pounds and perform physical tasks including standing, bending, and kneeling for extended periods.

●    Willingness to work in remote field environments.
