We are seeking a hardworking and dependable General Laborer to assist in land clearing and brush burning activities. The ideal candidate will have experience with outdoor physical labor, operating basic hand tools, and working in variable weather conditions. This role involves clearing overgrown vegetation, cutting down trees, piling brush, and safely burning debris in compliance with local regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

   •   Pile and organize brush for safe burning.

   •   Safely manage brush burning processes, adhering to environmental and safety guidelines.

   •   Perform general labor tasks as required, such as hauling debris, loading/unloading materials, and maintaining tools.

   •   Assist in clearing land of trees, shrubs, and other vegetation.

   •   Use hand tools (chainsaws, axes, etc.) and equipment to cut and remove brush.

   •   Operate or assist in the operation of heavy equipment (e.g., skid steers, bulldozers) if qualified.

   •   Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring safety protocols are followed.

   •   Report any safety concerns or equipment issues to supervisors promptly.

Requirements:

   •   Proven experience in general labor, land clearing, or related field.

   •   Ability to safely operate hand tools (chainsaws, axes, etc.).

   •   Knowledge of local fire and safety regulations related to brush burning.

   •   Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

   •   Physical stamina to handle heavy lifting and long hours of manual labor.

   •   Reliable transportation to and from the job site.

   •   Ability to follow safety guidelines and work as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

   •   Experience operating heavy equipment (e.g., skid steers, bulldozers) is a plus.

   •   Knowledge of local flora/fauna and land clearing best practices.

   •   Fire safety training or certification.
