job.description: We are seeking dependable and hard-working General Laborers to assist with land cleanup on a utility-scale solar project. The primary responsibilities include moving sand and dirt from a nearby creek and clearing debris. This is a physically demanding, outdoor position that requires attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform land cleanup activities, including manual removal of sand, dirt, and other debris from creek beds and surrounding areas
- Operate shovels, rakes, wheelbarrows, and other hand tools as needed
- Assist with erosion control and environmental protection efforts
- Maintain clean and safe working conditions on the job site
- Follow instructions from supervisors and work collaboratively with team members
- Report any hazards, equipment issues, or environmental concerns promptly
Qualifications:
- Previous general labor or construction experience preferred
- Ability to work in outdoor conditions in various weather environments
- Physically capable of lifting, digging, bending, and standing for long periods
- Reliable transportation to and from job site
- Commitment to safety and environmental regulations
Preferred Skills:
- Experience on solar or renewable energy construction sites
- Familiarity with erosion control methods or creek work
Work Environment:
This position involves outdoor work on uneven terrain near natural water features. Workers may be exposed to sun, wind, dust, and water.
