A leading professional renewable energy services firm is seeking an experienced Construction Laborer for an extensive pipeline of upcoming electric vehicle charging station installation projects in Coalinga, California region. • Operate and maintain construction equipment and machines in every phase of project construction
• These activities may include handling power and manual tools, sawing and nailing, operating motorized equipment, installation and removal of construction material and other job duties as assigned.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Act as a hands-on construction technician
• Assist in coordinating field activity, materials management, site organization
• Perform excavation, demolition, wire pulls, concrete form setting, equipment placement, and grading duties
• Monitor flow of field information and give status updates to Construction Manager
• Skillfully act on carpentry and punch list items
• Prep construction sites by cleaning obstacles and hazards.
• Load or unload construction materials.
• Construct and take apart temporary structures.
• Remove, fill, or compact earth.
• Follow instructions from supervisors.
• Assist construction workers.
• Ready to learn from on-the-job training when necessary.
• Perform site clean-up and restoration



Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of previous construction experience preferred
• At least 1 year of concrete finisher experience
• Landscape experience a huge plus
• Valid CA driver’s license; Non-negligent driving record
• Be able to work late and on weekends when required
• Satisfactory results from a background check
