SiteWorker is looking for a skilled Field Mechanic with extensive experience operating and

maintaining PD10 pile drivers. This role involves traveling to job sites across Cuba, Rio Rancho,

and Albuquerque, New Mexico, to provide on-site mechanical support, ensuring that all

equipment operates efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities:

• Equipment Maintenance and Repair: Perform regular maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs

on PD10 pile drivers and other construction equipment to ensure optimal performance.

• Troubleshooting and Problem Solving: Identify and diagnose mechanical issues in the field

and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime.

• Preventative Maintenance: Develop and execute a schedule for preventative maintenance

tasks to prolong the life and efficiency of all equipment.

• Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols while performing

maintenance tasks. Ensure that all repairs and modifications meet compliance standards.

• On-Site Support: Provide immediate mechanical support during pile driving operations,

addressing any issues that arise promptly to maintain project timelines.

• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair

activities, including parts used and labor time. Provide detailed reports on equipment

status and any issues encountered.

• Tool and Equipment Management: Manage the tools and equipment required for on-site

repairs and maintenance, ensuring they are in good working condition and readily

available.

• Team Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, equipment operators, and other

site personnel to coordinate maintenance activities and communicate equipment status

and needs.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a field mechanic with a focus on heavy

equipment maintenance and repair. Specific experience with PD10 pile drivers is highly

preferred.

• Technical Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and repair

complex machinery. Proficiency with hydraulic systems, diesel engines, and electrical

systems.

• Certifications: Relevant certifications in heavy equipment maintenance or mechanical repair

are a plus.

• Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication skills, essential for

reporting and collaborating with team members.

• Problem-Solving Ability: Strong analytical skills to diagnose and resolve mechanical issues

in a timely and efficient manner.

• Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy

equipment and working in various outdoor conditions.

• Flexibility: Willingness to travel to different job sites within the specified locations and work

flexible hours as required by project schedules.
