The Director, Executive Compensation will be an integral part of the Global Compensation & Executive Services team. This position will report to the Global Head of Total Rewards and act as a subject-matter expert, working collaboratively across the organization.


This role is in our Irving, the candidate must be located in DFW.


The ideal individual will:


• Manage LTI administration with multiple types of complex LTI

• Manage annual bonuses including calculations and accruals

• Manage annual global executive salary planning process

• Manage internal and external audit processes of executive compensation

• Manage executive job pricing, salary structures, and job architecture

• Support Compensation Committee and Proxy processes including preparing materials and providing detailed analysis with supporting documentation

• Use advanced Excel and data analysis skills to perform complex variable pay calculations

• Coordinate with other departments such as Accounting, Payroll, Tax, and Legal to provide support for compensation-related data needs

• Analyze, reconcile, and ensure accuracy of data for all supported plans on a regular basis; proactively identify problems and resolutions

• Develop communication tools to help expand understanding of executive compensation programs including LTI

• Partner with other HR, compensation, and business professionals to execute programs that require cross functional collaboration

• Support the global compensation team on various projects as required

• Provide leadership to direct report(s)

• Other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications:             

• Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and fourteen (14) years of work-related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to eighteen (18) years if non-degreed

• Subject matter expertise in executive compensation; including related governance and accounting implications, compiling information for annual Proxy statements and relevant filings, and experience in LTI administration

• Very strong Microsoft Excel skills

• Detail oriented – exceptional attention to detail

• Data savvy - ability to investigate and resolve data discrepancies

 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with SAP, Oracle, SuccessFactors, and/or BAML LTI System

• Knowledge of cultures and cross-cultural collaboration

• Ability to build trusting relationships, gain credibility, and partner with leaders and peers

• Ability to achieve results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities and deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:


• Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in Psychology, Education, Industrial Relations, Human Resource (HR), or related fields with significant HR/Admin experience

• Advanced degree (Master in Business Administration, Organization Development, etc.) or global equivalent preferred

• Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), Global Professional in Human Resources (GPHR) certification, or applicable HR accreditation

• Demonstrated high level of interpretive thinking, mature judgment, problem solving, and conflict resolution skills with the ability to provide high quality independent analysis, conclusions, and recommendations

• High level organizational, leadership, communication, and project management skills

• Experience in development/implementation of policies, procedures, and methods

• Experience working closely with operational management

• Experience negotiating contracts and establishing relationship with outside agencies/vendors

• Experience with budgetary and functional strategic objective responsibilities

• Experience working with offices globally

• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of cultures and cross-cultural collaboration

• Strategic business sense and organizational savvy

• Ability to build trusting relationships, gain credibility, and partner with leaders, peers and employees

• Demonstrated ability to be discreet with confidential company and employee information

• Proficient computer and software skills to include the use of word processing, email, spreadsheets, and electronic presentations

• Basic knowledge of internal database applications for designated discipline
