A leading professional renewable energy services firm is seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator for an extensive pipeline of upcoming electric vehicle charging station installation projects in Northern California. • Operate several types of power construction equipment, such as excavator, backhoe, dozer, skid steer and vibratory compactor or motor graders to excavate, move and grade earth, erect structures, or pour concrete or other hard surface pavement.
• Operating heavy equipment of various sizes and weights associated with unloading trucks, loading or handling equipment

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Ability to proficiently operate three or more types of heavy equipment such as a backhoe, scrapers, dozer, excavator, loader, rock trucks, compactors, articulated trucks, crushers, and/or motor graders with or without GPS in a manner to prepare the job site to meet the required grades.
• Uses shovel to dig trenches and holes of specified length, depth and width, remove loosened material and put in piles or transport trucks.
• Drives bulldozer in successive passes over terrain to raise or lower terrain to specified grade following markings on grade stakes or hand signals.
• Assist in installation of electrical conduits, lamp posts as well as setting concrete forms
• Assist with moving of materials, digging holes and trenches, transports earth and gravel, and to push trees and rocks
• Responsible to load, move, level and grade dirt, rocks, demoed concrete and other materials in a safe and efficient manner all in a high paced environment to maintain production goals.
• Responsible for general housekeeping, light maintenance of equipment, proper care of equipment, operating the equipment without damaging it along with maintenance checks of equipment including reporting usage/utilization hours on a daily basis.
• Work safely in a heavy manufacturing environment under pressure with time constraints in a changing environment
• Perform physically laborer work when required
• Assists in site clean up



Minimum Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years' 3 Years Industrial Construction Equipment Operator Experience Preferred with multiple types of equipment or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 1 years or more experience operating heavy equipment including a 980, 966, 924, Bobcat, CAT 325 and Crane in an industrial environment
• Valid CA driver’s license; Non-negligent driving record
• Be able to work late and on weekends when required
• Satisfactory results from a background check
