We are looking for a reliable and skilled Equipment Operator to join our team for a 6-month

project in Homestead, FL. This position is ideal for operators with experience in light to medium

construction equipment, such as skid steers, mini excavators, backhoes, and similar machinery.

The role involves assisting with site preparation, grading, material handling, and general

earthwork tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

● Operate various types of light to medium equipment, including skid steers, mini

excavators, and backhoes, for excavation, grading, and material transport.

● Assist in site preparation and support larger equipment operations as needed.

● Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure equipment is in safe working

condition.

● Work closely with site supervisors and team members to meet project deadlines.

● Follow all safety regulations and OSHA standards to maintain a secure work

environment.

Qualifications:

● Experience operating skid steers, mini excavators, backhoes, or similar equipment in a

construction or utility setting.

● Preferred background in road construction, utility work (water, sewer, etc.), or site

development.

● OSHA 40-hour certification preferred.

● Strong understanding of safety protocols and equipment handling procedures.

● Ability to work effectively in a team and follow directions from supervisors.

Physical Requirements:

● Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

● Work in outdoor conditions, including extreme heat and uneven terrain.

● Perform tasks that require bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.

Work Environment:

● Construction site setting with exposure to varying weather conditions.

● Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE), including hard hats, gloves, safety

glasses, and steel-toed boots.

● Team-oriented work environment with a strong focus on safety and efficiency.
