• Execution of the planned and preventive electrical/maintenance schedule.
• Responsible for installing, testing, maintaining, and troubleshooting wiring, fixtures, control devices, and equipment.
• Responsible for troubleshooting electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, pneumatic systems, motor controls, ac/dc drives, and medium voltage switch gears.
• Be able to read and interpret equipment drawings, PIDs, one line diagrams, and schematics.
• Effectively diagnose and repair malfunctioning systems and components.
• Improve equipment reliability and optimize resources.
• Maintain logs, and record labor, materials and equipment used.
• Proficient use of electrical test equipment such as digital multimeters, ammeters, meggers, and instrument loop calibrators.
• Ability to install and setup variable frequency drives.
• Participate in breakdown analysis, root cause analysis, focused improvement, and 5s projects.
• Ensure all workers adhere to local, state, and national codes and regulations.
• Perform all other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Electronics Technician Community College Degree or Licensed Journeyman Electrical License.
• Minimum of 3 years Industrial Electrician.
• One year of In Plant Manufacturing Experience.
• Ability to work Independently and Utilize Critical Problem Solving and Decision-Making skills to Generate and Implement Solutions throughout the Process.
• Must maintain Compliance within all LOTO, Confined Space, Hot Work, Working at Heights Policies.
• OSHA 10 Training and Experience.
• Experience with Variable Speed Drives, Siemens Drive knowledge a plus.
• Experience with PLC Installation and Troubleshooting, Siemens PLC knowledge a plus.
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to assist in all Mechanical tasks, jobs, and repairs.
• Ability to work extended hours to include nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to work at heights in excess of 80 feet, use man lifts, and work in confined spaces.
• Ability to work outdoors, rotating shifts, and lift 50 pounds required.
