Requirements

Responsibilities:

·        Management, evaluation and training of employees.

·        Routine interaction with customers to ensure complete satisfaction.

·        Site survey, marking, groundwork and excavation management. Maintenance of a safe job site.

·        Works closely with staff and customers to develop solar projects to plan.

·        Reviews install projects to ensure effective jobsite execution.

·        Schedules jobsite tasks and subcontractors.

·        Installation of solar components.

·        Installation of solar panels.

·        AC & DC electrical wiring.

·        Communications and monitoring systems.

·        Install commissioning and inspection.

·        Job documentation.

·        Completes and stays current on safety and industry training.

Required Skills

·        Minimum current Journeyman level electrical certification

·        Proven management/supervisory experience including on the job employee coaching, training and development.

·        Proven high level understanding of and experience with AC & DC electrical wiring

·        Ability to work in extreme environments hot sun, winter outdoor installs, attics etc.

·        Must be able to fulfill physical requirements as assessed by a qualified medical professional. Work involves squatting, twisting, standing and stretched positions, lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs. of materials or tools. Climbing up and down ladders and working over uneven ground or at heights.

·        Ability to legally and safely operate a motor vehicle.

·        Experience with the safe and effective use of hand-held and power tools.

·        A focus on precision and quality.

·        Ability to use basic computer applications (Word, Excel, Email).

·        Ability to work as a team and foster a positive team spirit.

·        Strong communications skills to team, supervisor and peers.

·        Demonstrated roof or construction industry experience.

·        Ability to travel and work away from home routinely.

Desired Skills

·        Master electrician certification or desire to test and qualify.

·        Previous experience in PV installations, roof work, general construction or carpentry.

·        NABCEP PV Installation Professional status.

·        Associates degree.

·        All candidates must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug test in addition to background and motor vehicle checks.
