We are seeking a skilled and experienced Duct Work Installer to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining duct

systems in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. The Duct Work Installer will ensure

that all work is completed in accordance with industry standards, building codes, and safety

regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

● Duct Installation: Measure, cut, and install ductwork for heating, ventilation, and air

conditioning (HVAC) systems according to specifications and blueprints.

● System Layout: Plan and lay out duct installations, ensuring efficient airflow and

compliance with design requirements.

● Fabrication: Fabricate ducts, transitions, and fittings using hand tools, power tools, and

machinery.

● Sealing and Insulation: Apply sealing and insulation materials to ductwork to prevent

air leaks and improve energy efficiency.

● Repairs and Maintenance: Perform repairs and maintenance on existing duct systems,

identifying and correcting issues to ensure optimal performance.

● Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, ensuring a safe

work environment for yourself and others.

● Quality Assurance: Inspect completed installations for quality and functionality, making

necessary adjustments to meet standards.

● Collaboration: Work closely with HVAC technicians, electricians, and other trades to

complete installations and projects efficiently.

● Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work performed, including

measurements, materials used, and any issues encountered.

● Customer Service: Interact professionally with clients, addressing any concerns and

providing excellent customer service.

Qualifications:

● Experience: Proven experience as a Duct Work Installer or similar role in the HVAC

industry.

● Knowledge: Strong understanding of HVAC systems, ductwork installation techniques,

and building codes.

● Skills: Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and machinery for duct fabrication

and installation.

● Physical Fitness: Ability to lift heavy objects, work in confined spaces, and perform

physically demanding tasks.

● Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in measurements and

installations.

● Communication: Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team

environment.

● Safety Awareness: Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and adhering

to safety protocols.

● Certifications: Relevant certifications in HVAC or duct installation are a plus.

Education:

● High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in HVAC or related field preferred.
