Seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Document Controller to manage and maintain project documentation for a large-scale civil infrastructure project in Fargo, North Dakota. This role requires hands-on experience with ACONEX and a strong understanding of document control procedures on complex construction projects.
· Manage the flow of project documentation using ACONEX, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely distribution.
· Organize and control the issuance, receipt, tracking, and storage of construction documents, including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and transmittals.
· Maintain document logs, revision histories, and approval workflows.
· Ensure consistency in document formatting, naming conventions, and file structure.
· Support teams with uploading/downloading project data, troubleshooting document control issues, and training team members as needed.
· Assist with preparation and delivery of turnover/handover documentation packages.
· Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and project managers to ensure timely submission of critical documents.
· Participate in internal audits and compliance checks related to documentation standards.
· 3+ years of document control experience in the construction industry.
· Proficient with ACONEX; familiarity with other platforms (Procore, Autodesk BIM 360) is a plus.
· Experience supporting DOT, civil, or infrastructure projects preferred.
· Strong working knowledge of construction workflows and document lifecycle management.
· Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
· Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional project teams.
· High attention to detail and ability to manage large volumes of data.
· This role is site-based in Fargo, ND.
