Responsibilities:
• Lead the design and implementation of wastewater conveyance pipeline projects, including sewer systems, force mains, and related infrastructure.
• Perform hydraulic calculations, modeling, and analysis to ensure optimal design of pipeline systems.
• Collaborate with project managers, environmental scientists, and other engineers to develop integrated solutions that meet regulatory compliance and environmental standards.
• Oversee the preparation of construction documents, specifications, and bid packages for conveyance pipeline projects.
• Conduct site inspections and provide technical oversight during construction to ensure adherence to plans and specifications.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project completion.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, technologies, and regulatory changes affecting wastewater conveyance systems.
• Engage with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies to ensure clear communication and project alignment.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas or the ability to obtain licensure within 6 months.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in conveyance pipeline design and project management, specifically within the wastewater or water resources sectors.
• Proficient in hydraulic modeling software and CAD tools.
• Strong understanding of local, state, and federal environmental regulations and standards.
• Demonstrated ability to lead projects, work collaboratively in a team environment, and communicate effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
