We are seeking a hardworking Construction Laborer to join our team for a 6-month project in
Homestead, FL. This role is essential in supporting construction activities, including site
preparation, material handling, and assisting equipment operators. The ideal candidate will have
experience in construction, roadwork, or utility projects and be comfortable working in a
fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
● Assist with general site preparation, including clearing debris and setting up work areas.
● Load, unload, and move materials, tools, and equipment as needed.
● Work alongside equipment operators, assisting with excavation, trenching, and grading
tasks.
● Follow safety guidelines and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all
times.
● Operate basic hand and power tools for construction and maintenance tasks.
● Perform manual labor, including digging, lifting, and carrying heavy materials.
● Help maintain a clean and organized job site to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications:
● Experience in construction, roadwork, or utility labor preferred.
● OSHA 40-hour certification preferred but not required.
● Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team.
● Strong work ethic and reliability.
● Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment operation.
Physical Requirements:
● Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally.
● Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
● Capable of performing physically demanding tasks, including bending, kneeling, and
standing for long periods.
Work Environment:
● Outdoor construction site with exposure to dirt, dust, and varying terrain.
● Must wear required PPE, including hard hats, gloves, safety glasses, and steel-toed
boots.
● Fast-paced environment with a strong focus on safety and teamwork.
