Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Construction Field Superintendent to oversee a major portion of fieldwork on our projects in Fort Myers, FL. This role is essential for ensuring work is performed efficiently, profitably, and in alignment with safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with

experience supervising subcontractors, maintaining schedules, and collaborating with project stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain the overall project schedule

- Review subcontracts and purchase orders to manage scope effectively

- Collaborate with other Superintendents to forecast labor requirements

- Conduct preconstruction meetings with subcontractors

- Ensure construction progress aligns with safety regulations, plans, and specifications

- Prepare and maintain two-week look-ahead schedules

- Participate in the buyout and selection process of major subcontractors

- Coordinate the activities of subcontractors in the field

- Serve as a key communicator with owners, engineers, and designers

- Maintain accurate and timely cost reporting

- Provide leadership, training, and mentorship to the field team

- Uphold and promote job site safety standards

- Foster and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders


Qualifications:

Required Experience: - Minimum of 3 years’ experience in project construction supervision

- Prior leadership experience, with a focus on mentoring and team development

Preferred Education: - Industry-related degree or construction coursework preferred

Skills & Abilities: - Strong understanding of construction documents, methods, and materials

- High initiative and proven problem-solving capabilities

- Effective verbal and written communication skills

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

- Ability to prioritize and balance multiple tasks

- Proven leadership and relationship-building skills across various teams

Technology Requirements: - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

- Willingness and ability to learn job-specific software platforms
