Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Commercial Carpenter to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial building projects, including framing, drywall, concrete forms, and finish carpentry. The role involves working on-site to construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made from wood, metal, and other materials.

Key Responsibilities:

●     Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications

●     Construct and install frameworks, partitions, and structures using wood, metal studs, and concrete forms

●     Build and assemble door and window frames, staircases, and commercial-grade cabinetry

●     Install drywall, ceiling systems, trim, and other interior finishes

●     Operate power tools and machinery safely and efficiently

●     Measure, cut, and shape materials accurately

●     Follow safety protocols and OSHA regulations at all times

●     Collaborate with other trades and project team members to meet project deadlines

●     Maintain a clean and organized work area

Qualifications:

●     High school diploma or equivalent

●     3+ years of commercial carpentry experience preferred

●     Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and carpentry techniques

●     Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings

●     Strong understanding of construction safety and building codes

●     Physical stamina and dexterity to lift heavy materials and work at heights

●     Reliable transportation and punctuality

Preferred Qualifications:

●     OSHA 10 or 30 certification

●     Experience with concrete formwork or metal stud framing
