We are looking for a skilled Civil Foreman to oversee and coordinate civil construction activities on-site. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading field crews, ensuring safety compliance, and maintaining project schedules while delivering high-quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and direct civil construction crews in site preparation, grading, utilities, foundations, and roadwork.
  • Ensure work is completed according to project specifications, schedules, and safety standards.
  • Coordinate daily tasks with the Superintendent, Project Manager, and subcontractors.
  • Monitor workforce productivity, material usage, and equipment operations.
  • Enforce safety policies and procedures, conducting site inspections and toolbox talks.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports and timesheets.
  • Assist in problem-solving and troubleshooting construction challenges on-site.
  • Ensure adherence to all OSHA and company safety regulations.
  • Train and mentor crew members to enhance performance and skill development.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, subcontractors, and stakeholders.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Civil Foreman or similar role in civil construction.
  • Strong knowledge of site development, earthwork, drainage, and concrete structures.
  • Ability to read blueprints, plans, and technical drawings.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong understanding of OSHA safety standards and regulations.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working on large-scale infrastructure or heavy civil projects.
  • Certifications such as OSHA 30, First Aid/CPR, or equipment operation training are a plus.
