●    Set anchors and guy wires as required to stabilize new strand.

●    Install down-guys, bonds, and grounding per NESC and project standards.

Remediation & Assessment

●    Assess and correct legacy aerial routes for clearance issues, unsafe slack loops, broken lashings, improperly tensioned strand, or non-compliance with pole owner standards.

●    Re-lash fiber bundles or remove/replace strand as needed for upgrades or pole change-outs.

●    Document and photo-log remediation efforts and provide as-built updates or punchlist closure reports.

●    Work closely with QC teams and inspectors to meet audit compliance.

General Aerial Lineman Duties

●    Climb poles or operate aerial lift trucks to access work locations.

●    Maintain and operate tools, lashers, hoists, pullers, and PPE to jobsite safety standards.

●    Interpret aerial prints, maps, work orders, and production sheets accurately.

●    Ensure traffic control and pedestrian safety around job sites.

●    Communicate with ground crews, engineers, supervisors, and customers effectively.

Qualifications:

●    Minimum 2–4 years of aerial lineman experience with a focus on strand and fiber optic systems.

●    Proficient in strand placement, lasher operation, and aerial fiber installations.

●    Comfortable working at heights with pole climbing gear or bucket trucks.

●    Ability to troubleshoot and correct pre-existing issues in legacy plant or failed audits.

●    Valid Driver’s License required

○    Class B CDL preferred

●    Strong understanding of NESC standards, pole owner requirements, and local permitting guidelines.

Preferred Certifications:
